Speedy the Hamshark, Version 1.0
Speedy was Sharky's second major costume project. A completely
different design and style of costume, Speedy the Hamshark is a more
"traditional" mascot-style suit, including a sculpted foam head underlayer
and a fully hand-sewn body suit. Speedy affords a much better range of
motion and level of visibility for the wearer.
Speedy will debut at Midwest FurFest 2006.

Profile of Speedy; the jaw moves with the wearer's mouth movements, and vision is through the eyes.
There's even whiskers! Several battery-powered fans inside the head provide cooling and additional air flow. |

Wearer seated, looking relaxed. The difference in comfort for the costumer between the Sharky costume
and this one is substantial -- the wearer can actually sit down, for example! |

Comfortably seated... |

Tired after a hard day of fursuit construction... Speedy rests and catches some TV before heading off to see
his adoring fans in Chicago! |
